Last year's fight over confirming Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court is about to be replayed in the South Dakota Legislature. Senator Jim Bolin introduced a resolution Monday wishing good luck to the new associate justice and praising U.S. Senators John Thune and Mike Rounds of South Dakota for voting for Kavanaugh. The Canton Republican also charges in SCR 5 that "outrageous and disruptive demonstrations took place both during the committee hearings and during the final vote on the floor of the United States Senate."
