Gov. Pritzker tapped to serve on panel that advises federal government
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker now serves on a 10-member bipartisan panel to help guide federal government on issues ranging from homeland security to disaster response and the National Guard. The Council of Governors launched in 2008 to oversee benefits and compensation for National Guard members and works closely with presidential homeland security and counterterrorism advisors, among others.
