The mission of the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) is to preserve and strengthen township government and to secure greater visibility and involvement for townships in the state and federal political arenas. PSATS serves townships of the second class, totaling 1,454 member townships in the commonwealth, representing some 10,000 elected township officials. The Association represents its members before the state and federal legislative bodies strictly on a nonpartisan basis.
