Ardoq | December 13, 2022
Ardoq, a SaaS company reinventing Enterprise Architecture (EA) for today’s digital enterprise, today announced that it has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s Government Cloud (G-Cloud) 13 framework, which enables UK public sector entities to quickly and easily purchase cloud-based solutions. Ardoq’s next generation EA technology can further help public bodies make more informed decisions, streamline operations and make their data actionable.
With more government bodies accelerating digital transformation, adopting cloud technology and driving their uses in the wake of the pandemic, it is crucial that they are leveraging technology that meets certain standards. G-Cloud, which sets specific requirements for all vendors to be accepted into the digital catalogue, ensures that public entities do not have to waste resources looking for the right cloud partner, since the framework guarantees that vendors are meeting the necessary requirements to which public entities are beholden. As part of G-Cloud, Ardoq is committed to ensuring public entities can leverage its data-driven EA tool without having to exhaust the additional resources needed to vet cloud solutions outside of G-Cloud.
“Public sector bodies are transforming their digital public services in unprecedented ways whilst remaining accountable for where and how their resources are used most effectively, They need access to tools that enable them to make smarter, more efficient decisions, and we’re eager to help these organisations better manage their people, processes, applications and data.”

Quantexa - a global leader in Decision Intelligence (DI) solutions for the private and public sectors - announced that it has partnered with Vodafone, the technology communications company, to connect scattered and siloed data points across Vodafone to deliver an improved experience for its business customers.
Quantexa’s Decision Intelligence Platform was chosen by Vodafone for its advanced capabilities in data management and customer insights which enabled Vodafone to marry difficult to match data sets across its business and learn more about their customers. As a result, Vodafone can make quick and confident decisions to provide their customers with more relevant offerings and improved service.
Quantexa’s Decision Intelligence (DI) platform was commercially deployed on Vodafone’s new Google Cloud environment and gives Vodafone insight into the interactions a customer has with them, including the products and services customers have purchased. Understanding customers from a 360-degree view will support the organization in giving prompts to the sales teams to drive timely client engagement. The new platform was delivered into commercial use with speed following a completed deal agreement in late Q1 of this year. It will initially be used in Vodafone’s small to medium business customer segments, and Vodafone will extend the platform to include SoHo and large business customers over the coming months.
The partnership started when Quantexa joined Tomorrow Street – a joint-venture between Vodafone and the Luxembourg Government - that connects innovative technology companies, corporate partners, and Vodafone functions to establish and grow new business opportunities.
Quantexa works with clients across several industries including banking, insurance, telco, and the public sector including government. Vodafone is the first company in the UK telecommunications industry to use Quantexa’s ground-breaking DI Platform to improve its customers’ experience.

Illumio | January 12, 2023
The Zero Trust Segmentation company, Illumio, Inc., recently announced its Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) in process designation at the moderate impact level for its Illumio Government Cloud. This is sponsored by Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS OIG).
The US government's FedRAMP initiative harmonizes security assessments, approvals, and monitoring for cloud solutions. Illumio Government Cloud, which includes Illumio Core and Illumio Endpoint prevents breaches from spreading across servers and endpoints with Zero Trust Segmentation (ZTS).
Illumio prevents breaches and ransomware in three easy steps:
See risk by using vulnerability maps that show data center-to-cloud-to-endpoint traffic
Set and automate the creation of granular policy to define categorization. Illumio's traffic-based policies streamline the process
Stop the spread of breaches to safeguard workloads and applications and strategically separate compromised systems and high-value assets, guard the hybrid attack surface during an active attack
Enterprise Strategy Group’s Zero Trust Impact Report found that Zero Trust Segmentation prevents five cyber disasters annually.
Gary Barlet, Federal Field CTO at Illumio, stated, "Bolstering national cyber resilience is a top federal priority. As more eyes turn to defending our critical infrastructure, Zero Trust Segmentation remains a strategic, and federally-backed mandate for agencies looking to shore up critical assets and to stop the spread of attacks throughout an organization or agency". He further added, "Zero Trust Segmentation is a fundamental pillar of any Zero Trust strategy, and Illumio is the industry-defining leader in the space, helping the largest organizations, including more than 15 of the Fortune 100, stop breaches from spreading to dramatically reduce agencies' risk."
