U.S. President Donald Trump and Apple CEO Tim Cook are expected to tour facilities in Texas where Apple products are made as soon as next week to showcase companies that keep jobs in America, according to two people familiar with the matter. The trip, which has not yet been announced, would highlight Cook’s strong relationship with Trump as he seeks further relief for Apple from U.S. tariffs on imports from China. The way we define and measure health is changing dramatically—both nationally and in our own community. While medical care and personal behavior are important, maintaining good health involves much more than a doctor visit or having access to a medical facility. A variety of other factors can influence a person’s health such as access to healthy foods, educational and career support, available transportation options, safe neighborhoods, and opportunities to stay active, to name a few. We also need to examine these broader social and economic influences (see Figure Intro-1) if we are to fully understand our community’s health. With this new definition of health, we are better able to work together to set and achieve goals for the community’s wellbeing. Cloudflare, Inc. (NYSE: NET), the security, performance, and reliability company helping to build a better Internet, today announced that it has achieved the U.S. Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program's (FedRAMP®) Moderate Status. Achieving FedRAMP authorization reinforces Cloudflare’s commitment to the Public Sector and the U.S. federal agencies, U.S. state and local governments and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). The same platform can be used to improve delivery of citizen services, in alignment with EO 14058. “Cloudflare has long served the most technical, security-aware agencies like the FBI and U.S Department of State, With this FedRAMP milestone, Cloudflare can serve more agencies, as well as the companies that sell to them.” -Matthew Prince, co-founder & CEO of Cloudflare. Cloudflare provides security, performance, and reliability services through its global network to over 40 United States Federal Government agencies. In 2021, the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) began utilizing Cloudflare to deliver a protective DNS resolver solution for all Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) agencies. Cloudflare is committed to supporting critical government functions, including the nation's election infrastructure. Through its Athenian Project, Cloudflare provides services for free to state, county, and local officials administering elections.
