Washington Generated $100 Billion in Regulatory Costs So Far in 2014

The American Action Forum (AAF) found that Washington has produced $104 billion in new regulatory costs so far in 2014. That is $434 for every voter, 18 or older. The federal government is on pace to pass $200 billion in new regulatory costs by the end of the year. To put this in context, in 2013 federal regulators didn’t reach the $100 billion mark until mid-December, and in 2012 it took until late-October.
