2017 water, wastewater rates set

Average Fort Worth residential customers will see the water and wastewater portions of their city services bill increase by $1.20 per month in 2017 based on the rates approved by the City Council. The new rates take effect Jan. 1.Even with the changes, the average customer will still pay less than $2 a day for water and wastewater service. A report outlining the 2017 water and wastewater rate changes and explaining the factors behind the changes is available for review on the water rates site.
