Mayor names Kathy Plomin to 12th District seat

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 5, 2016) - Mayor Jim Gray today named Kathy Plomin, who brings a wide range of experience to government, the new Councilmember for the 12th District.“Kathy is well prepared to be a Councilmember. She has a thorough understanding of Lexington and is devoted to our city” Gray said. “She is an active volunteer who has donated many hours to Lexington’s non-profit organizations. She is a leader with a proven track record.”Plomin is an independent development consultant who has recently worked on fund-raising with the Living Arts and Science Center, Spindletop and as director of 100 Women, an organization that focuses on ensuring financial support for non-profits serving women and children.
