FRONTEX HOSTS AMBASSADORS IN WARSAW

Today, ambassadors and other diplomatic representatives from 29 EU Member States and Schengen-Associated countries participated in the second Frontex Ambassadors’ Day, hosted at the agency’s headquarters in Warsaw. Frontex Executive Director Fabrice Leggeri and Deputy Executive Director Berndt Koerner told the guests about the strategic priorities for the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, which has been built on the foundations of Frontex. The guests were also updated on the current migratory situation at the EU’s external borders.
