BIFA calls for response to UK Government’s Brexit consultation

The British International Freight Association (BIFA), the trade association for UK freight forwarding and logistics companies, has urged its members to respond to the UK Government’s aviation policy consultation process. As the UK prepares its long-term aviation policy running through 2050, the government has sought industry input into developing its strategy. The consultation paper pledges to explore various ways to facilitate the growth of airfreight, for example, through making best use of existing capacity at airports, supporting the implementation of more digital documentation and through continuing to support the third runway at Heathrow.
