APL to Provide Services to U.S. Government with Creation of New CMA CGM Asia-Pacific Hub

APL will focus its operations on servicing the US government as its parent company, CMA CGM, unveiled a series of measures meant to simplify and improve services. In a statement, CMA CGM said APL will “leverage its experience” providing US flag services to “solidify and enhance the Group’s specialisation”. Additionally, APL will continue its Guam-Pacific service. Ed Aldridge, President of CMA CGM and APL in the United States, stated: “We are leveraging the very best of CMA CGM and APL, two major carriers in the U.S., to bring our customers an even more focused and streamlined customer experience.
