Data is one of the most valuable resources of modern digitized governance, but raw data alone can not provide the decision makers valuable insights. To turn the numbers into knowledge, we need to separate noise from the data. We also need to choose the right way to present the data, so that it’s easily interpreted.

The Department of Defense (DoD) recently released a set of Zero Trust initiatives designed to enhance the security of its networks & systems, modernize DoD infrastructure, prioritize data protection, and implement strong identity & access management controls. It’s an approach closely aligned with the concepts behind SASE, or Secure Access Service Edge. In this episode of GovExec TV, we’ll examine what’s next for Zero Trust in the DoD, where SASE fits in, and how agencies can use those frameworks to improve interoperability & network security at the same time.

But they also help governments in a number of valuable ways, including fighting fraud, ensuring accessible service delivery for constituents, improving efficiencies and cutting red tape.
