Under the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces executive order, you need a clean, three-year compliance record with 14 federal laws, executive orders and state laws … or you can be blacklisted from soliciting government contracts worth over $500,000. Laws included address wage and hour, safety and health, collective bargaining, family and medical leave, and civil rights protections. Contractors working under Davis-Bacon, the FLSA, SCA and similar pieces of legislation will also have to provide covered employees with expanded wage statements to covered workers.
