The requirement of the state open meeting laws and oter relevent statutes are detailed in this secion of the orientation program. The powers granted to local elected officials under the state's municipal home rule law, the county law, and other relevant statutes are discussed.  The presentation focuses on the procedures and requirements that must be followed by county legislative bodies to enact local laws.
