With each incarnation of our Homeland Security Summit Week we have persisted in bringing forth the most pertinent topics of discourse. This year, we have prepared an event centered on the most pressing issues discovered in our extensive industry research. These issues include safeguarding and securing cyberspace networks, ensuring against the evolving threat to the US homeland, countering biological threats and hazards, and the unique challenges faced by law enforcement. During the duration of this event we will be platforming experts from across the Federal Government, Law Enforcement, Industry and Academia to facilitate a discourse essential to our understanding of the current state of Homeland Security in the United States. Recent developments have highlighted the need for technology, strategies and approaches to bolster the homeland security of the United States against emerging threats. This event will cover diverse topics ranging from border security, cybersecurity, counter UAS, intelligence sharing, infrastructure protection and resilience, identity technology, agency collaboration, budget planning and much more. For years the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement (IDGA) has continually brought together the top minds in the homeland defense and security spheres at our Homeland Security Week event for thought leadership, industry collaboration and the development of best practices. We at the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement are thrilled to once again host our esteemed Homeland Security Week Summit for two days on January 23-24, 2024. Join us on-site, where attendees can meet and collaborate with speakers and industry leaders on a multitude of topics.

Join us at the Achieving Transformative Cooperation for National Defense Forum, where top military leaders, defense experts and policymakers will come together to explore the future of Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) and its impact on international security. This event will focus on achieving seamless sensor-to-shooter connectivity on the battlefield by emphasizing combined interoperability with global partners. Speakers will discuss the United States’ strategic approach, how to promote resilience and what’s being done to address intensifying global competition.

There is immense value in collaborating and sharing ideas with our IT colleagues in the government sector throughout the State of Alabama. The Alabama Digital Government Summit provides an excellent opportunity to do just that by bringing together IT professionals from all across our state to hear from industry leaders and insiders, to promote best practices, and to network with one another.
