The Local Government Technology Conference and Exhibition 2023

The Local Government Technology Conference and Exhibition 2023
Transforming public services through increased and better use of computing, technology and digitalisation has become an important ambition for many local authorities in recent years. Since 2018, the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has funded the national ‘Local Digital’ movement. This initiative aims to help councils deliver more user-centred and cost-effective local services through digitalisation. The pandemic accelerated the need for council services to be digitalised and for communities to become digitally literate, revealing numerous challenges to achieving digital transformation. Now is the time to work collaboratively to improve ICT performance, build digital capability in local government and deliver better outcomes for communities.
