11th Judicial District offers free legal clinics

CANON CITY, Colo. – The 11th Judicial District (Chaffee, Custer, Fremont and Park counties) is offering free informational clinics Friday, June 24, 2016, on small claims and evictions cases.
The small claims clinic is scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m. and the evictions clinic will be held from 2:30-4 p.m., both in Courtroom 102 of the Fremont Combined Court at 136 Justice Center Road in Canon City. The clinics will provide information on how to file a small claims or eviction action and what to do if a small claims or eviction action is filed against you. Registration is required. To register or obtain further information, contact Rebecca Casey at 719-204-2222 and leave a message with the registrant’s name, phone number and name of the clinic or clinics the registrant wishes to attend. While anyone may register, the clinics will address the procedures followed for cases filed in Fremont County.
