Affordable Housing Construction Excise Tax

On November 7, 2016, the Corvallis City Council adopted Ordinance 2016-16, implementing an Affordable Housing Construction Excise Tax on residential, commercial and industrial improvements to provide funding for affordable housing in Corvallis. The Construction Excise Tax took effect on November 8, 2016. The tax rate on residential improvements is 1% of the improvement value; the tax rate on commercial and industrial improvements is 1.5% of the improvement value.
