Carrollton 7th Annual Festival at the Switchyard Hosts Biggest Crowd Yet

It hasn’t even been “One Week” but the numbers are in and the City of Carrollton’s 7th Annual Festival at the Switchyard is saying “Pinch Me” after shattering attendance records with rides and games, quality vendors, and all day concerts including spunky headliner Barenaked Ladies. Approximately 30,000 people attended the Festival throughout the event day to eat their corny dogs, watch the kids play, and enjoy performances from artists such as Kelsey Lewis, the Statesboro Revue, and Perfect Nation (Prince Tribute). Some lucky folks even danced in a conga line led by Shinyribs frontman Kevin Russell who got down from the stage and showed Carrollton how to have a good time. Barenaked Ladies didn’t disappoint either with performances of long-time favorites “One Week,” “Pinch Me,” “If I Had $1000000,” and of course, the theme song from CBS’s The Big Bang Theory.
