Eighth Judicial District offering free Family Law Resource Day

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado’s Eighth Judicial District (Jackson and Larimer counties) is offering a Family Law Resource Day at the Larimer County Justice Center (201 Laporte Avenue in Fort Collins) on Jan. 29, 2016, for people representing themselves in family law court proceedings The event, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., will offer services including various class sessions, ask-a-lawyer appointments, mediation and parenting classes (in Spanish and English) free of charge to self-represented parties involved in domestic relations cases. Participants who wish to attend parenting classes, obtain legal advice, or seek mediation service must register at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8WYH6HZ. Ask-a-lawyer sessions are available from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. and may be reserved in person at the Self Help Center or by e-mailing 08selfhelp@judicial.state.co.us.
