Man wanted in Lexington home invasion arrested

September 26, 2016 - Through coordination with Lexington Police investigators, Kentucky State Police troopers today apprehended a Lexington man wanted in connection with a home invasion.
Tahjee K. Winters, 23, was arrested near Bowling Green after being located in a vehicle that had been reported stolen Monday morning. He was charged with warrants for Burglary 1st and Failure to Appear, and additionally charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon.
The Burglary 1st charge stems from the September 7 home invasion on Lucille Drive. Another suspect in that case, Deverious D. Jones, was arrested on September 22 and also charged with Burglary 1st and other unrelated charges.
