Sixth Judicial District offering free Legal Resources Fair

DURANGO, Colo. – People with questions about legal matters in the Sixth Judicial District (Archuleta, La Plata and San Juan counties) will have an opportunity to get answers in a free Legal Resources Fair scheduled Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016. The fair, sponsored by the Sixth Judicial District Access to Justice Committee, the Southwest Colorado Bar Association and Southwest Bar Volunteer Legal Aid/Colorado Legal Services, will run from 4-7 p.m. Jan. 21 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds exhibit hall, 2500 Main Avenue, in Durango. Attorneys will be available to answer questions about many areas of the law including landlord-tenant disputes, employment, family matters, estate planning, immigration, probate, contracts and criminal matters. Organizations including Colorado legal Services, Court Services, Department of Human Services, mediators and Housing Solutions also will be on hand to provide assistance.
