Thanksgiving Traffic Safety Enforcement Campaign Nets DUI Arrests, Speeding Citations, and More

The St. Charles Police Department completed a 14-day enforcement period in connection with the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and Click It or Ticket traffic safety campaigns.  Additional patrol officers were assigned to enforcement details centered on the busy holiday travel season at night time hours when impaired driving is more likely to occur.  This was done in cooperation with, and funded by, the Illinois Department of Transportation. This initiative is part of a statewide program to reduce the number of traffic related injuries and fatalities.
