Candidate Donald Trump had an ambitious, and audacious, series of proposals for domestic policy, many of them directed at reversing the direction President Barack Obama steered the nation over the last eight years. He was going to build a wall with Mexico.
As president, Trump will have some barriers to achieving those goals. There's Congress, which, while majority Republican, has institutional and individual parochial concerns of its own and is not likely to merely rubber stamp everything Trump wants to do.
