Third Judicial District offers free legal self-help clinics

TRINIDAD, Colo. – The Access to Justice Committee for Colorado’s 3rd Judicial District (Huerfano and Las Animas counties) will hold its third Ask-A-Lawyer Day event on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016.
Residents of the district representing themselves in non-criminal cases will have an opportunity from 3-6 p.m. to meet free of charge with an attorney for a 20-minute consultation at the Las Animas County Courthouse in Trinidad. Consultations are by appointment, though walk-ins will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis if space is available.
