7th Annual FST Government Western Australia Summit

The State of GovTech 2023 unites the whole ecosystem of local government innovation in a unique, all-encompassing event. Catering not only to technology experts, but local government leaders and innovators seeking to build networks, see the future of city technologies, and problem-solve with peers on key government challenges. This gathering offers a platform for the entire government technology ecosystem—including startups, technology companies, investors, entrepreneurs, NGOs, and academia—to assemble and discuss the latest innovation and technology trends, exchange best practices, network, and collaborate.

Current bureaucratic procedures in the Federal government have imposed an overwhelming paperwork burden on citizens and workers, amounting to over 9 billion hours annually. In December 2021, President Joe Biden issued the Executive Order on Transforming Federal Customer Experience and Service Delivery to Rebuild Trust in Government. Although past actions have laid the groundwork for service improvements, this new order recognizes the need for sustained focus, accountability, and improved delivery for the public's benefit. Service delivery should prioritize the needs of citizens. Through human-centered design, empirical research, behavioral science insights, and continuous engagement in service delivery, processes can be made more efficient, fair, equitable, and transparent. Government must harness technology to modernize services, ensuring they're user-friendly, accessible, transparent, equitable, and protective. In our Potomac Officer’s Club’s: Radiant Digital CX Imperative session, we will discuss how digital transformation strategies can help agencies as they redesign customer experience to align with the presidential directive, including enhancing transparency, removing inequitable barriers, and protecting customer data.

As such, Cyber-Physical risks are more prevalent across our most critical sectors, and the threat landscape continues to expand. Moreover, Geopolitical events dictate that the only certainty is uncertainty. Against this backdrop, the United States Government and its military leaders are enhancing operational capabilities to mitigate risk spanning our complex infrastructure, particularly in remote locations. Groundbreaking technologies are enabling this effort, and specifically, the use of Kubernetes containerization technology is accelerating mission success and impact within these types of tactical environments “at the edge.” Join us for an engaging and insightful forum on how the ability to drive both the capacity and the speed at which data-driven decision-making in a zero-trust environment is reshaping and transforming the modern military landscape.
