The Government Contractors Conference convenes the Government Contracts Committee (GCC) to keep members apprised of developments that bear on the needs and requirements of the U.S. military and other parts of the U.S. government with respect to the procurement of clothing and shoes, and the problems faced by the industry. Representatives from the United States Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy, along with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, provide updates to their clothing and individual equipment suppliers on purchasing forecasts to better enable companies to tailor and plan for production.
