Join us at the 2023 FST Government South Australia conference, as we welcome public sector thought leaders and top technologists to track SA’s tech and digital innovation pipeline. The geographic heart of Australia has also become its epicentre for impressive and large-scale tech innovation projects. And South Australia doesn’t look like it’s slowing down at all. After the COVID-19 pandemic put the Government to the test on its digital delivery, its pre-existing foundations in hi-tech innovation only accelerated its development of digital services and systems, allowing South Australia to bounce back better than ever before.

There is immense value in collaborating and sharing ideas with our IT colleagues in the government sector throughout the State of Alabama. The Alabama Digital Government Summit provides an excellent opportunity to do just that by bringing together IT professionals from all across our state to hear from industry leaders and insiders, to promote best practices, and to network with one another. The State of Alabama Office of Information Technology is proud to continue its partnership with Government Technology to present this exciting annual conference.

Current bureaucratic procedures in the Federal government have imposed an overwhelming paperwork burden on citizens and workers, amounting to over 9 billion hours annually. In December 2021, President Joe Biden issued the Executive Order on Transforming Federal Customer Experience and Service Delivery to Rebuild Trust in Government. Although past actions have laid the groundwork for service improvements, this new order recognizes the need for sustained focus, accountability, and improved delivery for the public's benefit. Service delivery should prioritize the needs of citizens. Through human-centered design, empirical research, behavioral science insights, and continuous engagement in service delivery, processes can be made more efficient, fair, equitable, and transparent. Government must harness technology to modernize services, ensuring they're user-friendly, accessible, transparent, equitable, and protective. In our Potomac Officer’s Club’s: Radiant Digital CX Imperative session, we will discuss how digital transformation strategies can help agencies as they redesign customer experience to align with the presidential directive, including enhancing transparency, removing inequitable barriers, and protecting customer data.

Join us at the Achieving Transformative Cooperation for National Defense Forum, where top military leaders, defense experts and policymakers will come together to explore the future of Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) and its impact on international security. This event will focus on achieving seamless sensor-to-shooter connectivity on the battlefield by emphasizing combined interoperability with global partners. Speakers will discuss the United States’ strategic approach, how to promote resilience and what’s being done to address intensifying global competition.
