Our U.S. Science Envoy for Oceans visited South Africa recently. In between meeting university students, leaders in government, academia and the private sector to discuss effective solutions to shared environmental problems, and bobbing in boats in bays in the Eastern and Western Cape, she took some time to answer questions on ocean issues such as acidification, pollution and the blue economy.
