WisDOT - Verona Road Project, Madison Beltline Bridge Demolition Time-Lapse

As part of the Verona Road (US 18/151) Project improvements, crews removed the existing Beltline bridge over Verona Road in Madison, WI. Originally built in 1957, crews removed the bridge deck, girders and piers over the span of six nights. The new westbound Beltline bridge will be lengthened over Verona Road and meet current required height clearances, similar to the new eastbound Beltline bridge. Visit www.VeronaRoadProject.wi.gov for more information on the Verona Road Project.
