Five Trends That Will Shape Federal Contracting in 2018

Enactment of the law as part of the 2018 National Defense Authorization Act (Public Law 115-91) will change the way government will buy information technology products and services in 2018. The law established working capital funds for IT modernization at individual agencies, and the General Services Administration will manage a separate technology modernization fund that is authorized to receive $500 million over two years and can be transferred to agencies for IT enhancements.
