These include but are not limited to Police, Park, Parks & Rec, Public Works, Water, Waster Water, Economic Development and Finance. Yuba City is home to Sunsweet Prunes and a variety of other agriculturall based businesses and as such is known as Northern California's Agricultural Hub. Historically the City has also been called the "Peach Bowl of the World" and the"Prune Capital of the World."
