To find likely trends and opportunities going into the new year, our data analysts at FiscalNote scoured all of the introduced and enacted legislation at both the state and federal level in 2017. In doing so, we were able to determine what type of legislation, federal or state, is more efficient at becoming law, and in which issue areas.
