The IDEAg Group, LLC., producer of IDEAg Minnesota Farmfest, announced the return of the Farm Bureau Financial Services Media Center at this year’s show, scheduled for Aug. 2-4, at Gilfillan Estates in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. For the third year in a row, the Farm Bureau Financial Services Media Center will serve as the central meeting place for local and national press attending the trade shows. Hospitality, Internet access and a formal area for on-camera interviews will be available....

"The Senate today did the right thing by voting to move toward a full debate on the merits of the GMO labeling bill. The legislation is not perfect, but it does take critical steps to prevent a confusing 50-state patchwork of laws disclosing the presence of entirely harmless ingredients.
