September 26, 2016 - Through coordination with Lexington Police investigators, Kentucky State Police troopers today apprehended a Lexington man wanted in connection with a home invasion. Tahjee K. Winters, 23, was arrested near Bowling Green after being located in a vehicle that had been reported stolen Monday morning. He was charged with warrants for Burglary 1st and Failure to Appear, and additionally charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon. ...

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred overnight. Just before 2 a.m. Saturday, October 1, officers responded to a townhome on Unity Drive in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival officers located a male victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, who has been identified by the Fayette County Coroner’s office as 18-year-old Nathaniel McNealy of Louisville, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
